Sports and technology: How is it combined?

Sports include a lot of subjects like football, golf, etc… They are beginning to be caught up in the development and “invasion” of technology. It can be seen that in every aspect of life, technology can creep in, not just sports.

But what is the beauty of sports? It is the admiration for the ability of the player to handle. The harsh protest or strong agreement with the judge’s ruling or the tales of a certain situation where a television angle cannot be clearly expressed.

Therefore, when sports gradually apply technology. For example, golf also applies virtual golf room or equipment mounted on sticks to analyze the player’s blow that has created many objections. Those who disagree said: Technology will destroy the inherent nature of sports.

Technology or technology devices, obviously they are useful for sports players. If football has equipment to analyze players’ stats, so will golf. Smart cameras, smart measuring devices have been developed that have been included in golf.

But they can only stop at analyzing strokes or other factors during practice. During the game, according to a specialist, all must be removed from the game so that the true nature of golf is not affected.

Thus, we can see that technology and sports and also life can be combined together. But only to a certain extent. What happens when playing football, the decisions made by machine are 100% accurate and we have no emotional moments in an argument?

Or like a golf game, thanks to technology, the story is just one stick and the ball will go into the hole “like a meal” because the devices have analyzed everything to get this. Through that, the sport became more computational and also lost the surprise and joy because in doing so, not everyone had the opportunity to do this.

Galaxy S11 is ready with 5G modem

According to the latest rumors, the processor chip of Galaxy S11 can support DDR5 memory and integrated 5G modem.

Next year, the technology world will be witnessing a real competition in the smartphone world, the next two Exynos and Snapdragon 865 processor chips will be produced on the second generation 7nm process technology of Samsung. Currently, the Snapdragon 855 in the Galaxy S10 for the US is still only produced on the first generation 7nm process while the Exynos 9820 for the international version is on the 8nm process.

However, what makes tech experts most concerned is whether Qualcomm and Samsung’s 5G modems will be true system chips or are still separate entities like this year. The demand for two separate components on the Snapdragon 855 has forced many phone manufacturers to produce their own “5G” versions, often with bulky bodies and large batteries. Both users and analysts expect that this trend will no longer exist next year.

The latest news about the Snapdragon 865 processor chip is that there will be two versions, with and without a 5G connection, like this year, but it is still not clear whether the 5G version is integrated with the modem chip system .

Recently, the source from Roland Quandt (accurate forecasting of technology information) only confirmed two models codenamed Kona and Hurracan, respectively “a 5G capable modem, a modem has an integrated 5G modem (SDX55) “.

The point is that both will support the latest generation of DDR5 mobile memory and the fastest UFS 3.0 storage standard that the OnePlus 7 Pro is offering. Samsung has announced that it is ready for mass production for LPDDR5 memory chips. Unfortunately, they have not been available on the Galaxy Note 10 that will be integrated on Galaxy S11 next year.

Samsung recently announced it is planning to integrate a 5G modem into the processor chip (most likely its Exynos chip), providing faster speeds than any chip on the market. Expected, this modem will appear in Galaxy S11 with another version running Snapdragon 865 chip.

Mozilla officially introduced a new logo for the Firefox family

Mozilla has just announced a new logo for Firefox applications and services, and this is the first time the company has included a set of logo for its entire product line.

The construction of the logo appeared almost a year after Firefox began asking users to help the organization choose the direction for designing a new logo.

There are many new icons in the new Firefox logo, and Mozilla said the update includes new palettes, new shapes and modern typefaces. The group also emphasized accessibility, adopting “standard and accessible color standards for logos to open to everyone, everywhere.”

But this brand new look is more than just pure logos – the company insists. They offer a new color palette, a new icon shape system, and a more modern new font. The new brand system was built based on four pillars: Fundamentality, Kindness, Openness, and Consistency.

To bring this new look, Mozilla has resorted to some big names, including Michael Johnson from Johnson Banks – the original idea; Jon Hicks, designer of the original Firefox logo – offers design advice; and Michael Chu from Ramotion – leading the brand change effort and the new system icon set.

Mozilla said it needed to develop the Firefox logo due to the increased range of services and products it offers. They include encrypted file sharing services and password managers, which, according to Mozilla, are just the beginning of the Mozilla family. With the new logo, Mozilla hopes to help bring the Firefox brand further, such as changing the color palette to easily adjust the brand with new products.

Of course, the whole process required community involvement from the start, and Mozilla realized the new logo was still not perfect. The team will listen to feedback from users on the Firefox logos and update to improve  them in the time to come.

The negative effects of social networks (Part 1)

Facebook or Twitter are making you move away from the real world, neglecting the goal of life, where people compete to get more “likes”… There are some disadvantages of using social networks:

  1. Reduce interaction between people

You pay too much attention to electronic devices and spend less time and attention to those present in your real life. This makes your life very frustrating. Finally, the people around won’t even want to hang out with you anymore.

  1. Increase the feeling of reaching attention

Posting vague, confusing states on Facebook to attract the attention of others is becoming an annoying habit of social network users. The competitive battle likes and announces that there will be no end.

  1. Ignore the real goals of life

It’s easy to summarize what’s happening on social networks, people will gradually neglect the real goals of life. Instead of trying to realize the dream by becoming a really talented person, young people tend to become stars on the Internet.

  1. There is a risk of depression

Due to a certain study, using social networks often can cause negative emotions, including fatigue and depression. Using social networks is particularly harmful to people with pre-existing depression. If you start feeling sad and pessimistic, you should stay away from social networks for a while.

  1. Using social networks affects the creative process

Surfing social networking sites will paralyze people’s minds, similar to watching unconscious television. If you’re planning to work today, turn off social networking applications.

  1. Easily broken love story

You should not be glued to the screen, continue to be jealous and pry. Social networking is an easy choice to publicize the relationship, but it is in fact ineffective. In fact, research shows that people who often use Facebook to track their other half lead to speculation, imagination, and ultimately broken romance.
