Apple figured out how to integrate the fingerprint sensor into the iPhone screen

Apple has removed the physical Home button that integrates the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and replaced it with the Face ID face unlock feature. Now, Apple has found a new solution to be able to bring the fingerprint sensor back to the iPhone but without the need of a physical Home button.

Apple is not the first company to bring fingerprint sensors to its smartphones. Apple has created a trend of integrating fingerprint sensors on mobile devices and now almost every smartphone is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

Apple has removed the fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical Home button on the product. And they replaced it with the Face ID face unlock feature.

This change of Apple has made many people feel regretful because many people still love the feature to unlock the device with fingerprints. Many people rate this idea rather than unlock with face like on iPhone X.

Many people expect Apple to bring the physical Home button back on new iPhone versions. However, those who love using the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone still have hope. When there are signs that Apple is quietly secretly bringing fingerprint security features back to the new iPhone version.

According to Patently Apple, Apple’s solution is to equip a number of cameras hidden below the screen of the iPhone. These cameras will not be visible to the user but will be used to capture fingerprints.

Users can easily unlock iPhone or conduct payment transactions via iPhone just by touching the product screen. Apple’s new patent shows that they use different technology from other brands to integrate the fingerprint sensor into the screen. However, this is not so important to the user, but above all if this technology is applied

The best of iOS 14 isn’t available on iPhone

This feature is available on the iPad, but if you want to run it on an iPhone, you have to pay. One of the most notable features on iOS 14 is picture-in-picture. Simply put, this feature will minimize the video window playing back to the corner of the screen. It allows you to watch movies while running other applications.

This feature has appeared on Android versions for a long time, but until now, only on iOS. Not having to watch a movie in full screen lets you do multiple tasks at the same time. On the iPhone, however, the PiP has major limitations.

PiP on iPhone won’t work with free YouTube accounts. If you want to use this feature, you’ll have to sign up for a YouTube Premium account. It is a service that allows viewers to skip ads, listen to music in the background, and download videos.

Surprisingly, YouTube doesn’t block the PiP feature consistently on iOS 14. If you open a browser, go to a website that embeds a YouTube video and exit, the iPhone can still display the PiP video. On iPad, you can also watch PiP YouTube videos without needing a Premium account.

According to The Verge, it is not clear whether this is a bug or YouTube deliberately restrained users from taking advantage of this feature on iPhone. It should be noted that even on the iPad, to view the PiP you have to open it via Safari, but if you open directly from the app, you will need a Premium account.

After Apple officially released iOS 14, on some technology forums and iOS user community, a series of responses showed that iOS 14 caused the device to heat up and drain the battery. Many people also reported that after updating iOS 14, the Home swipe was not hidden in the game, so it was annoying. Currently, Apple has not commented on this error.
